Manual Transmission

This course involves an in-depth study of principles of operation, construction and service of manual transmissions and related drive train components (differentials, clutches, u-joints, rear wheel drive and 4-wheel drive).
Brake Systems
AUT 110/111
This course involves the operational theory and application of hydraulic and anti-lock brake systems; disc and drum brakes are discussed.
Steering and Suspension
AUT 160/161
This course presents the automotive suspension system, the diagnosing of suspension problems, identifying components, recognizing tire wear problems, wheel balancing and the use of alignment equipment.
This course is dual credit with Bowling Green Technical College.
