Student Teacher Assistance Team
Teamwork is defined as "Cooperative or coordinated effort on the part of a group of persons acting together as a team or in the interests of a common cause, unison for a higher cause, people working together for a selfless purpose, and so on." Our common cause is to improve student behavior. In an effort to do so, we would like to set clear examples of behavior that will result in a consequence. The following are examples of behavior that will result in a student being refocused or given an office referral. Included with the sample behavior is a list of possible consequences that may be enforced. To ensure students are treated fairly, the consequences listed below may change based on circumstances.
Listed below are examples of reasons a conduct mark may be assigned for misbehavior or poor work habits (grades 3-6).

Raise your hand to talk and wait to be called on
Follow directions the first time they are given
Remain silent while someone else is talking
Show respect to all adults and peers
Respect school property
Use appropriate language
