Congratulations to all Drakes Creek Middle School students, faculty and staff for their excellent performance on the 2009-’10 Kentucky assessment. Our school result on the Kentucky Core Content Test (KCCT) total transition index was 100.  The goal is proficiency by the year 2014.  A transition index of 100 = proficiency.

Listed below are our indices in each assessed area. We are presently analyzing these results to determine the best way to improve our students' understanding and performance, maintain the proficient level (index of 100) on our overall school index, and provide a thorough and balanced education for every student.
