Warren East High School students (from left) Sindy Rivera-Escobar, Natalie Malone, Kalyn Edwards, and Joselin Rivera-Escobar -- all members of the Warren East Future Educators of America (FEA) club — have been honored by the Area Health Education Center (AHEC) at Western Kentucky University for their work promoting meningitis awareness at the school. The students received certificates and $25 Best Buy gift cards from AHEC Director Lucy Juett (standing at right) and AHEC intern Brittany Grimes.
