Warren Central students selected for GSP and GSA
Warren Central High School students selected for the prestigious Governor’s Scholars Program (GSP) and Governor’s School for the Arts (GSA) were recognized at the May 9 meeting of the Warren County Board of Education. Pictured, from left, are Ryan Bell (GSP), Adam Wilkey (GSA) and Sayrah Jones (GSP). Allyn Goatley, selected for GSP, is not pictured.
The Governor's Scholars Program strives to enhance Kentucky's next generation of civic and economic leaders and to create models of educational excellence for teachers and students. Established in 1983, the program provides academic and personal growth through the balance of a strong liberal arts program with a full co-curricular and residential life experience.
GSA gives an opportunity for high-achieving students to study art, drama or music in a summer residential program.
