At its April 12 meeting, the Warren County Board of Education approved an architect's plan for an addition to Briarwood Elementary School. The plan calls for two new wings to be added to the school, creating six new classrooms and new restrooms. The four intermediate classrooms and two primary classrooms will replace the trailers now being used to ease crowding at the school. Bids for constructing the addition will be taken next year, according to Warren County Public Schools Chief Financial Officer Willie McElroy.
